@SW-User It also needs a scale for optimism/pessimism.
Otherwise disillusioned ex-trotskyist' is never going to come up the description. 😇

@SW-User These tests sometimes link you to political figures, historic or current.

@SW-User The most popular band for angsty teenagers in the 90s was The Manic Street Preachers. Don't ask me how I knew that.

		@Burnley123
The 80s were a stressful time.
Russia - Afghanistan
Iraq - Iran
Falklands
Nicaragua
Panama
Lebanon and on and on
Thatcher - Kohl - Reagan
I didn't think we'd get to 2022 without a nuclear war. I never thought about a career until 1990s when children came along.
And here we go again.

@SW-User Let me break this gently; my youthful angst was much more intense and worthy than your youthful angst. 😎

@Burnley123 Surely the 90s was a blur of raves and pills 🤪

@SW-User I was too young for the rave scene because that was early 90s. Though I would have probably been into grunge anyway. 🤣

@Burnley123 I came back to England in 1991 after 3 years living in Germany. It was more of a culture shock than the move the other way. It was like all my friends had been kidnapped by aliens and replaced with look alikes.

@SW-User lol. That used to happen to the youth every few years. Imagine if you'd gone from 79-82. Punks to New Romantic?
In hindsight, Britpop was the last major musical subculture and even that had many borrowed parts. Now the kids pick their style or pick a mixture of many.

@Burnley123 I think I'd have fitted in better now in some ways. I was always eclectic in my tastes and never really part of any scene
