At the time you were born, anyone could afford to go to a quality public university in the US. My annual tuition was about $800. I bought used text books for around $200 per quarter. Monthly rent on my apartment was around $100. Monthly food and utilities ran just under $100. I earned enough money each summer to pay for it.
Over the last 30+ years, the cost of going to college has greatly exceeded inflation. Funny how that happened. Your solution...ignore the root cause of the issue, just convince the dumbass masses that they're the poor victims of white privilege. Get everyone to buy into yet another idiotic wealth transfer scheme when all it does is line the pockets of the university Marxists in bed the politicians. No wonder we have so many idiot commie "professors"
