I thought all the experts said the p@ndemic was over when the vaccine came out?

Can we just accept that everyone will get Covid and try to live normal lives. I'm an INFJ and this is way too boring for me.

No one said that. And it was assumed everyone would get the vaccines.

We can't accept that everyone will get Covid, because too many who do die from it. Omicron isn't "the sniffles." Mild in an ER setting and mild in everyday life are not the same beast. Not to mention long Covid, a very real thing that now includes ED in a healthy proportion of men. And those who are compromised - babies, children, the elderly, those with co-morbidities - are still dying. Each and every hour of each and every day.

So I'm sorry if this is boring; I agree, it is. But it's also how we save lives. There will always be a proportion of the population who just has to sample those hurricane waves and always more real estate left behind.
