What will politicians use for power, when covid has gone

@sunnydaze obviously total control over peoples lives . They basically decide who keeps a job who gets fired, who can enter public places or ER etc

@InHeaven the perception that politicians are using it to control you is blown wildly out of proportion. The hospital makes decisions on who enters the building. Many companies have their own protocols in place about what they expect from their employees during the pandemic. And the supreme court just shot down the President's intended mandate. Politicians have gained nothing from the pandemic anywhere in the world except an angry populace.

But the ' everything is a conspiracy' people have built a world in their head where Biden and Obama and the Clintons are working from their secret base deep in a volcano that's pumping COVID out the top in order to depopulate/control the world. They don't ask themselves if what they read on the internet makes sense, they want to believe it so they do and propagate it endlessly.

And ironically, they think it's literally a bioweapon yet at the same time refuse to protect themselves against it (let alone vaccines, they're the first to neglect masks and literally any other physical precaution measure), and not surprisingly, they're also the ones dying the most of it. Natural selection is doing its job, at least.

@sunnydaze It's conveniently a bioweapon when they need it as an excuse to be racist, a fraud when they conveniently need it to justify being entitled and not changing their lifestyle one bit. They're just like toddlers, there's no way to reason them out of it not because they're dumb, but just because they're malignant and in bad faith.
