@StrawberryMilkshake so you’re actually in Greenland? That’s dope. I tried to start learning Kalaallisut a few years ago, and gave up lmao. Still have the CDs to learn it, though. But I actually really like the idea of the “ideal” political system varying from place to place. I’ve argued that a lot.

@StrawberryMilkshake well, I spelled it. If I tried to repeat it, I might do okay, since I can pronounce the L’s and everything (similar enough to Icelandic)… but any other word, I’d probably struggle. Pronouncing anything in Kalaallisut is so difficult (to me).

That’s really interesting! I had a couple of penpals in Nuuk, and messaged one of the people in a Greenlandic hip-hop group a while ago, but I lost all of that when I deleted Facebook years ago. I really wanted to move to either Greenland or the Faroe Islands until I finally moved to Vegas for a girl 🙄

@StrawberryMilkshake that’s amazing. Gotta say, I’m pretty envious… I wanted to travel, but it’s looking more and more like my fiancée and I are going to have to get our businesses rolling and travel with some kiddos at this rate. Can’t imagine living in the places you did like that!

And I didn’t expect many classic country fans on here. One thing I missed from EP (the website that inspired this one) was meeting people from all over that had so much in common. Makes the world feel so small.
