Define what you mean by political. If you mean locked into a specific ideology or group (like the two you mention), no. If you mean political in the sense of following what is happening in politics and having views on given political issues (which may vary from other people's ideological labels), like every engaged citizen should, then yes.

I'm very political. I don't have any faith in electoral politics. However, I do run a union. I wouldn't call us a lobby group though.

Not a member of any party. Was a moderate, right of centre voter until 7-8 yrs ago. Am now left of centre and extremely anti the far right factions that, despite being the minority, seem to dominate the political discourse in the UK and the US atm.

Given the party's directions, cannot understand how anyone who considers themselves moderate could vote Tory/GOP at this present time!
