It's not just about the US, it's about every single country that practices free market economics.

@Northwest not for low ratings Joe. He does everything backwards from Afghanistan redeployment to meeting the US energy demands.
Sure Joe go ahead, shut down our means to meet our energy demands and start buying high priced oil from OPEC and Russia. At least their pipeline is operating.
Low ratings Joe is a moron. Dems don't know how to handle the economy only destroy it.

@Muldoon There is so much concentrated stupid in this comment, it's hard to find a place to start.
Muldoon · 56-60, M
@QuixoticSoul it's too bad your negative Nancy comments come first instead of a solution. But go ahead, feel good in Cali.
That place is a zoo.
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@Muldoon The solution is pretty simple tbh - we don't run a command economy in this country. Maintain diplomatic pressure on OPEC, and don't freak out while the free market does its work.
Muldoon · 56-60, M
@QuixoticSoul I often say democrats don't know how to grow an economy.
Even the drilling taking place today has an increased cost.
Joe doesn't know how to balance supply and demand.
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@Muldoon That's pretty funny considering the record of the last few decades.

The potus doesn't balance supply and demand. That would be socialism lmao.

@QuixoticSoul obviously we are assuming Biden has the mind to understand supply and demand. Where we failed is letting Joe cut down our supplies by raising the cost of drilling for oil, granting Russia it's wish to build their pipeline and then letting OPEC and Russia enter into a price war at our expense.

You do realize you're slapping words together, right? The word soup still means absolutely nothing.

@Muldoon This entire conversation makes it pretty clear that you don’t have a mind to understand supply and demand, lmao.

The facts say differently.
"From 1952 through June 2020, annualized real stock market returns under Democrats have been 10.6% compared with 4.8% for Republicans."

In other words: to the extent stock market growth reflect economic growth, Democrats do it more than twice as well as republicans. 10.6% vs 4.8% is quite an impressive disparity!

@QuixoticSoul it's a pleasure knowing your carotid artery is about to explode.

@Muldoon Both of mine are perfectly fine - like many folks around here you have some massive gaps in your basic economics fundamentals, but that is the sort of entertainment that keeps bringing me back to SW year after year.
