If drivers would police themselves, this wouldnt be a thing.

The detection systems are designed to determine whether you have a blood alcohol content above the legal limit, not whether you have had one beer.

First of all I do not suggest anyone drive drunk, drink responsibly, however it reminds me of the saying the path to hell is paved with good intentions.

In that case, I'd say one or 2 people will die every few years vs the thousands that die every year from impaired drivers. If they could detect stoned drivers, that'd be even better
