So what did we learn from the Rittenhouse trial?
Because it feels like the lesson is 'shoot back'. Is the law really going to rule "Last one alive is innocent"?

The guy who got shot in the arm could have probably shot Rittenhouse and also gotten off in court. Those situations are ripe for people getting killed and it all being vaguely justifiable in the fog of war, etc.
