I am moving back to Miami Beach on Dec 1st from Fort Worth, Texas. Florida is an amazing place to live, and when you adjust for age of population covid deaths were in line or better than the national average for Covid 19.@Pfuzylogic

DeSantis tried to arrest the woman that made data displays for the state. Florida isn’t that magical. There are many more people dying that they are hiding.

Are you trying to claim a state with a huge population of people over 65 should have the same number of covid deaths as a state with half as many people under that age of covid 19? Are you unfamiliar with the statistics on age being the biggest factor in who dies of covid, far above pre existing conditions?@beckyromero

Vermont has the THIRD highest medium age of the 50 states, yes, HIGHER than even Florida's.

Yet, Vermont also has the LOWEST Covid death rate as percentage of population.

Vermont is all rural, mainly healthy white people. They have also had a spike in infections recently. @beckyromero

Yeah for Vermont having high vaccination rates, it is a liberal white state and we know old liberal whites are the most likely people to get vaccinated.

You keep quoting very small , fairly rural states for the most part. Covid strains did not hit states equally. Timing of when it hit states matters as well. @beckyromero

New York, New Jersey, Michigan are liberal states that got hit very hard, Alaska and Utah are super low.
