I wouldn't have guessed who, although I'm pretty sure a lot of people who've 'supported' and defended him, would say something similar. Maybe not out loud to anyone who might expose what they said, but surely thinking it.

@Piper And that is why I do not get too upset at those who are paying lip service to backing Trump just to stay in office. If they ever lost favor with the base, who knows who they would be replaced with!
