We should all try to lighten up!

We've all been there...

"In The Square and the Tower, Niall Ferguson argues that networks have always been with us, from the structure of the brain to the food chain, from the family tree to freemasonry. Throughout history, hierarchies housed in high towers have claimed to rule, but often real power has resided in the networks in the town square below. For it is networks that tend to innovate. And it is through networks that revolutionary ideas can contagiously spread."

Will the internet have as profound an impact on the world as Gutenberg's Bible, or even more?

@swirlie But by the time the technology matures and is no longer rudimentary there will be new technologies wreaking havoc. For instance, quantum computing will make current forms of encryption obsolete. I don't really know what the answer is.

Thanks for stopping by and for posting! :)

@swirlie My .. aren"t you just a fountain of mis-information??

Did you know only some Audi's are all-wheel drive .. only the Quattro models?? Most Audi's, in fact, are not AWD.

I drive a Toyota 4WD .. my third.
They ran over 550,000 miles between them and counting, as two are still on the road as daily drivers. Reliability and off-road capability is why I chose them .. nothing "fancy" about it.

You seemingly know nothing about real off-road driving. I'm not just talking basic gravel roads .. places like Engineer and Black Bear passes, Poughkeepsie Gulch on the Alpine Loop near Ouray, Telluride and Silverton CO. Places like the White Rim Trail and others around Moab UT, the Trans-America-Trail, national forests, old logging and mining roads and non-gravel trails around the country. Nobody with any sense takes regular 2wd low clearance vehicles out there.

Stick to what you know something the actual fuck about before telling me anything else .. please.
