Are right wing vigilantes terrorists?

Do we have to call them something else because conservatives benefit from their terror?

Palestians get called terrorists for resisting a literal military occupation.

@Burnley123 People "get called" all kinds of things!
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@Oberon1 Yes, sometimes because they are judged by double standards.

@Burnley123 In relevance to the OP, there is no comparison.

@Burnley123 I mean... Gee whizz....none of my working class uneducated rural white southern backwoods redneck friends would put civilians and terrorists in the same category simply because they shared the same ideology. Who exactly is this "they" that you speak of?
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@Oberon1 No because when the Taliban storm a capital building, they take control of a government. When Trump supporters do it, the create a years supply of comedy memes.

They both stormed a capital building. Your argument seems to be that you can only be called a terrorist If you succeed on your aims?
@Burnley123 I like vanilla ISIS. Equal parts accurate comparison and equal parts ridicule they deserve.

@Burnley123 I think the driving force in that incident was not Trump supporters, but I know a few very slow-witted Trump supporters jumped in with them out of pure frustration and excitement. They were 'caught up in the moment'. It was a gold mine for new administration, either way. Think about it. What sane adult would have thought for a minute that anything could have come of that mob activity other than getting thrown in jail or shot? If it was really an attempted insurrection, then it was committed by people with absolutely no insight or ability to weigh actions vs consequences. I just can't believe that many people would have been in the same place at the same time with the same ridiculous idea.
