Is Biden nuts? Climate change not a partisan issue?

Does anyone anywhere think that Republicans would allow us to interfere with their corporate climate destruction project?
Or that Democrats would waste any effort in any attempt to fight them at all?

Climates change and always have. They have changed long before we crawled from caves and created fire. They will continue to change when our cities are dust. What their politically driven data always ignores is the largest cause of climate change. A power source we have zero control of. I’ll give you a hint: it rises in the east and sets in the west. Climate scientists who are not on the government payroll will tell you that humans have very little impact on climate change and that CO2 levels have risen in the past and did not change planetary temperatures. But they have noticed that climate change does occur cyclically every 12,000 years when our magnetosphere weakens and solar forcing becomes more dramatic. Carbon taxes and electric cars are not the answer. The former is just exploitation and the latter is even more toxic than fossil fueled automobiles. We have much much worse things to worry about as a species. But by all means continue to believe people who lie for a living.
@stratosranger The key thing about current climate change is the rate of climate change. The global warming / climate change we're seeing in the last 100 or so years is MUCH different from anything measured in the glacial & sea sediment records covering the last 700,000 years. CO2 is rising 100x faster, and temps 10x faster. See my post for links.
The peer group is still out on that claim. And we’re also in the midst of a steady decrease in our magnetosphere, something that is always missing from all of those climate change equations. Every CME from the sun results in heating of the upper atmosphere that a stable magnetosphere would normally protect us from. @ElwoodBlues
@stratosranger Magnetosphere changes, up to and including magnetic field reversals, are well recorded around sea floor spreading centers. They occur every 200K to 300K years. Thus they are also captured in the deepest ice cores and in sea floor sediments. They are not associated with the kind of rapid temp & CO2 changes we've measured over the last century.

Even if the existing climate change models don't fully account for magnetosphere effects, the historical record tells us that nothing out there causes the kinds of change we are seeing now.
@stratosranger
The peer group is still out on that claim
Which peer group?

The consensus opinion of the American Physical Society AND the American Chemical Society are behind that claim. The American Association for the Advancement of Science stands behind that claim, as do at least 15 other national organizations of publishing scientists.

So are you talking about the peer group of Sean Hannity talk show guests? The peer group of evolution deniers? Which peer group???
And as usual you regurgitate the same MSM garbage and play the “my source vs. your source” game. Bottom line is the global cooling…oh it’s global warming...oh wait, it’s now climate change debacle has a great many scientists who ARE NOT ON YOUR LIBERAL GOVERNMENT PAYROLL who disagree with the CO2 as the sole reason why the climate is in flux. But you once again have reduced this conversation to throwing insults because you are a douchebag. Now prove you are a douchebag by replying. @ElwoodBlues
@stratosranger NONE of the modern climate models are based solely on CO2. Look, climatology these days is done with supercomputer models that also incorporate methane from plant decay, changes in cloud cover, atmospheric heat transport, and probably a bunch of other things I'm ignorant about. Arguing about simple correlations between 2 variables is beside the point. What I see on the right are a few nitpicks. What I see in the science is converging models. No "climate skeptic" has built a model that denies anthropogenic global warming; all they have is a few nitpicks.

BTW, I see you've stopped debating and switched to name-calling. That's you conceding defeat, right?

Update: @stratosranger got so upset after losing the debate that he blocked me, LOL!!!
Thank you proving you are a douchebag. I win. Have a good day douchebag.@ElwoodBlues

@stratosranger "Alarmism" is just another religion and a political means to an end. I completely agree with you. In the 70's an "ice age" was coming. The climate changes. That's what it does. Globalist dipshits exploit anything and everything they can.
