Man Breaks Into Thousands of Apple iCloud Accounts Seeking Nude Pics of Women. Huh? He Couldn't Find Any FREE Online?

LOS ANGELES — A Southern California man broke into thousands of Apple iCloud accounts and collected over 620,000 private photos and videos in an effort to steal images of nude young women, federal authorities said.

Chi admitted that he impersonated Apple customer support staff in emails that tricked unsuspecting victims into providing him with their Apple IDs and passwords, according to court records cited by the Times.

People fall for password phishing scams so easily. No legit customer support person would ever ask you to give them your password.
These people apparently need to take the Internet safety course that my son took when he was in kindergarten.
Now THAT's what you call a TRUE "idiot savant"...
