Should Trumpism be treated like a disease?

This guy's lawyer says his client's parole violation (streaming Mike Lindell on the Internet) is akin to a drug addict having a relapse and that he shouldn't be reincarcerated because of it.

Honestly, this one really bothers me. I've always been trouble with addiction as a disease, Trumpism, aside, for one thing.

Then there's the fact that not accessing the internet was a parole condition. Is this akin to pedophiles not hanging around schools?

Is it different if he was watching it without the ability to share it, say on Newsmax?

Should TDS ?
@eli1601 Maybe. Got any thoughts as to why they're similar, or different?

@MistyCee TDS is a mental disorder. I don't actually think Trumpism exists except in the minds of those with TDS. 😁
@eli1601 Ok. I'll play along, for a minute to 2.

What do you call the folks who think they were doing Trump's bidding in walking down to the capitol, trying to stop the certification, and hang Pence, Pelosi, etc?

Or, what do you call people who believe[ed] that Trump would be re-instated in August, by whatever means, including Lindell's symposium?

@MistyCee Peaceful protesters. Just like all the other protesters over the years who haven't been happy with the status quo.

I don't believe more than a handful of people thought Trump would be reinstated. That's mostly a left wing fantasy.
@eli1601 I'm going to let the peaceful hanging thing, go, ok?

Do you think it's right that this "peaceful protester" wasn't allowed to stream Lindell's show?

Would it be different if he was a lib who wanted to watch Maddow?

@MistyCee It seems like a very strange condition of parole, but with our hyper partisan justice system, it's probably not unusual. Which should also answer you question about a lib watching Maddow.

@eli1601
hyper partisan justice system

oh... you mean all the conservative judges, appointed by your courageous leader, who threw out election fraud cases on the basis of no evidence.

It must suck to be a neo-conservative these days. Life is SOOOO HARD! 😭
