At The Going Rate
We started the day with 10,000 Americans remaining in Afghanistan.
It's now 40,000
At this rate, and by the end of the day, there will be more than 25 Million Americans stranded in Afghanistan.
In the meanwhile, all the people, who up until a couple of days ago, were supporting the cause of a President who won election on the basis of keeping Afghans and people from shithole countries, out of the USA, and now are heartbroken that the Biden administration is slow in getting these same folks out.
Incidentally, the same people who support Trump on the local online neighborhood boards, have sounded the alarm over Seattle being one of the four relocation destinations, with refugees arriving already. They don't want these folks near them.
I am signing up as a volunteer to pick people up at the airport and drive them to shelers.
