So Trump personally approved of the release of the mullah? Do you think the president was even informed of his release before hand? I rather doubt it myself. You demoncrap mileage may vary. On the the other hand what do you think of the Biden blunder causing the fall of the government in Kabul even as Biden and his advisors were saying it was impossible?

Yes. Apparently he was hoping he could cut a deal with him while negotiating the U.S. pullout of Afghanistan. Typical Trump. He thinks he can cut a deal with anyone.

I think what happened in these past few days is appalling.
We knew (or should have known) that the Kabul government would quickly collapse. We should have been getting our Allies out of there starting LAST YEAR.

@beckyromero So let's assume that Trump actually cut a deal. Biden certainly screwed that up with his unilateral withdrawal. Very strange that you want to blame Trump for Biden's never ending blunders. I read today that Biden hasn't even spoken to any world leaders. Not surprising. He doesn't make sense when he talks anyways. Dementia does that to a person. Wasn't it Obama who said that he couldn't believe how Biden managed to F things up all the time?

At least Trudeau came out and announced Canada would accept 20,000 Afghan refugees. I think Biden should be encouraging other world leaders to make similar committments.
George W. Bush is calling for the establish of a safe-haven for refugees.
Everyone who wants out should be allowed to get out. Particularly women.
Leave Afghanistan for the Taliban and a few goats (although People Against Cruelty To Animals may object to that given what the Taliban may do with the lack of women around to rape).
