Britain was dragged into this conflict by the US following 9/11 - good ole George Dubbya & the ‘War on terror’

The mission was to destroy Al Qaeda, yet in reality the biggest damage by far is always to innocent civilians caught in the crossfire & the families waiting at home of those serving soldiers on the front line, caught up in politics!
