He will speak ...

This afternoon Eastern time Biden will explain, “ Here’s the deal, man!” On Afghanistan. Then he’ll explain it to the World. He’s not currently in the good graces with many World leaders of this Afghanistan situation. But, we’ll see..,[image deleted]

I need to hear his mouth like I need another hole in my head
Slade · 56-60, M
@Keepitsimple Won't be listening - I'd rather stick my dick in a pencil sharpener😖
Keepitsimple · 51-55, F
@Slade I know. I still haven’t turned on the news because I just can’t bare to listen to if all. I’m sick over this and listening to Biden is going to throw me over the edge.

@Keepitsimple These are indeed dark times

The term "Policy error" doesn't begin to encompass this godawful blunder by THIS president.
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@laotzu92 That fool is one of the reasons we were over there for twenty years with nothing to show for it - fuckim, he could have pulled us out early.
laotzu92 · 70-79, M
@QuixoticSoul You may be quixotic but you don't have much soul.
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@laotzu92 Spare me the goofy justifications for remaining in a forever war that we’ve been losing for twenty years.
JesseInTX · 51-55, M
But will he take questions and give real answers? Reading the prepared statement off the teleprompter means nothing.
@Northwest Did I post that they “blamed” him? I read the article and , ok, my expression, not in good graces was based on the paragraph stating their disappointment with him. The initial paragraph indicated that. The following especially about Johnson was his distancing from the matter by saying his military ended there in ‘14. He hopes for a re-engagement ( non military) with Afghanistan. Australians want to get Afghanis out. Trudeau is heart broken and wants his people out too. That’s what I took away from the article.

Did I post that they “blamed” him?

Let's go over this one more time. The article you said your information came from (He’s not currently in the good graces with many World leaders), came from the article with the following header:

[quote]World leaders blame Biden

The following especially about Johnson was his distancing from the matter by saying his military ended there in ‘14. He hopes for a re-engagement ( non military) with Afghanistan. Australians want to get Afghanis out. Trudeau is heart broken and wants his people out too. That’s what I took away from the article.
How does any of that translate into: He’s not currently in the good graces with many World leaders?

Your sarcastic comment to me, when I asked you for specifics, was:
you really following the news on this?
Yes, I am.
Not in the good graces of other leaders? Everyone else left years ago. There is nobody left to care about America's latest failed military adventure.
He’s not currently in the good graces with many World leaders of this Afghanistan situation.
How about a for instance?

@soar2newhighs
you really following the news on this?
I sure am, and there is no such thing. I look forward to your sources. But I don't blame you, because you only follow one news source.

For instance, when you see this Fox headline:
World leaders blame Biden, express disappointment with Afghanistan
And run with it, then you only have yourself to blame for getting duped, yet again, by Fox. But, if you actually read the article

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/boris-johnson-blames-us-and-biden-for-afghanistan-collapse

You will see that headline was total bullshit. Specifically, Fox concluded that:
World leaders are speaking out about their disappointment with the security situation in Afghanistan, with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson going so far as to pin the blame on President Joe Biden and the United States.
How did they reach this conclusion:
Johnson said it was "fair to say the U.S. decision to pull out has accelerated things, but this has in many ways been a chronicle of an event foretold," but urged Western leaders to work together to prevent Afghanistan from again becoming a "breeding ground for terrorism."

"I think it is very important that the West should work collectively to get over to that new government – be it by the Taliban or anybody else – that nobody wants Afghanistan once again to be a breeding ground for terror and we don't think it is in the interests of the people of Afghanistan that it should lapse back into that pre-2001 status,"
Does this sound like Biden is not in the good graces of many world leaders?
@Northwest yes, that is the article I was referring to.
Northwest · M
@soar2newhighs
yes, that is the article I was referring to.
🤣 🤣

Here's what you should do next time: please read the article, you will discover that the Fox headline, is not in any way shape or form related to the actual content.

Perhaps you can point to the actual part of the article where World leaders blame Biden.
I’m now listening to the various comments by Biden on Afghanistan. All wrong!
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@soar2newhighs I’m sure 🤣
masterofyou · 70-79, M
Yeah we'll see, he will blame Trump for all his mistakes....
WalksWith · 51-55, F
Who says "He's not in good graces with the rest of the world leaders"?
This is going to be interesting.
Heartlander · 80-89, M
No chance of Yahoo news turning their "comments" feature back on.

I assume that Facebook will be working overtime to filter any postings with the words "Biden" and "Afghanistan".
I will try and wait to see what he says before I post here again on Biden/Afghanistan.
Slade · 56-60, M

It was much funnier when those 3 crazy guys from Brooklyn did it in skits (Stooges)
MarineBob · 56-60, M
Where's his obama beige suit
masterofyou · 70-79, M
@MarineBob Where and any of the lefty lucey onesies....
Human1000 · M
We are out of the “endless war” everyone wanted to end. The rest is BS, sorry.
