Imagine the ruckus if the Dutch, for example, had come into America during the war of independence and "restored peace" ...I don't think it would have gone down well...

@beckyromero just another in a long series... Against the British, the Russians, the states.... It's about repelling invaders and instigating a political system they believe is the right one

We weren't an invader.

We were responding to an attack on our home soil planned in their country by terrorists they allowed to operate in and gave support to and then refused an ultimate to hand them over to us.

I don't recall reading anything about the Afghans supporting terrorist attacks on London in the 19th Century or Moscow in the 20th.
