I wouldn't hold your breath. As much as I like the idea of impartial justice, it would be a political prosecution and I don't think adults on either side of the political aisle actually will let it happen anytime soon.

@cycleman Generally, the Supreme court only tries laws, policies and procedures.
If some case he's involved in NOW goes to the Supreme court then it's because he's stating that a law, policy or procedure is unconstitutional. This only happens if the case involving that question has already been through some lower court, and if they find that that law, policy or procedure doesn't pass that test then they strike it down, or force a realignment. If they determine that a law, policy or procedure was not followed by a lower court then they admonish that lower court and force a retrial on proper procedures, perhaps in a new jurisdiction.
The average citizen not knowing the roles and functions of government laid out in the constitution is why Trump got away with so much -- not to mention that he also knows rather little about the constitution himself.
Again: The constitution and amendments are all written down, no need to guess.

@xmedleft it so appears the constitution has double standards supporting those with money. In all honesty, it's just an arguers haven. In Canada we have the similar sort of constitution and to me I just hear the hypocrisy when sometimes articles can apply one day to one sort of grouping and then the next month another group is denied to stand with the article too. I just have bitter cynicism with the angles of law arguments people can hide within. I hope you get my point. I'm not trying to be offensive with what I say here. Thx.

@cycleman No, I get it and that's been the flaw for some time now. With the protests last summer and the Occupy Protests there was some headway made at least in pointing it out, but then Trump, as an example, just kinda smooshes it back in the face of anyone who felt we got somewhere.
