August 13 is the day that Trump assumes the presidency again, according to My Pillow Guy Mike Lindell. He's waffling on the date now, and his scenario ignores the presidential order of succession, but make no mistake about it--The Big Lie is going to work, and Trump is coming back to take revenge on all those who are not true believers.

If Americans werent real people I would be quite enjoying all this. Between the Governors of Florida and Texas and the leadership of the Republican party, the whole right wing of American politics is in the middle of a slow motion Train Wreck, with "moderate " Republicans falling away and leaving the Trumpists and their looney and evangelical cohort on the wrong side of the saw as they saw the branch off. Whatever is left is not going to weild any power in US Politics. Not that it will make a great deal of Difference. But Trump will have made his Mark for sure.😷

@whowasthatmaskedman voter suppression and repub judges, especially on the Supreme Court, may keep the trump right's influence a big factor here for the foreseeable future

@tindrummer Oh Certainly. Yet another good reason for a progressive person who wants better for his or her family to leave: If you can find some place to go. But I believe on evidence presented so far, that while AG's and DA's may frame and prosecute laws from a personal view point, Judges seem so far to be interpreting those Laws Broadly without bias based on their beliefs. The problem of course would be the individual States failing to enforce or support some laws. 😷
