It's about time management stands up to abusive customers. The whole "the customer is always right" business mantra has emboldened too many rude, disrespectful and self-entitled customers. Besides, I for one would gladly chose an airline that weeds out these kind of people and send them to other airlines...

I never had a problem with Southwest. Spirit from what I've heard, is like the Walmart of airlines. Low prices, very low passenger satisfaction.

If you can get the Wanna Get Away deals, a 2 hour non stop flight could be as low as $119. If I have to spend a little more for a better experience vs paying a really low price for a bad experience, I'd pay the little bit more money.

But that's just my preference.
