Is the US seriously considering making Muslim internment camps base on the model of Japanese Internment Camps of WW2?

Carl Higbie introduced this goal for a Trump presidency.

He is a Trump surrogate and the spokesperson for a super PAC.

He shared this with Megan Kelly's Fox News Show on Fox Network. She was visibly taken aback.

What have we learned from history?
George Takai of Star Trek called it one of our country's shame and that Ronald Reagan apologized to Japan for the incarceration of innocent people and bypassing the Justice Sustem of the Unoted States.

I wasn't really taking the "Whiting" of America seriously but this is embarrassing for our country.
This bypasses constitutional rights of citizens of the US?
How could this possibly be defended?

In Washington state, a politician put forth an idea that would make protests an "economic" felony. It would lead to 5 years in prison and/or $10,000 in fines. It doesn't seem likely to pass, but this goes to show just what ideas can come forth now.

I doubt that Washongton state would be successful with that. That state voted for Hillary.

@Mert5356: I live in the area. Doug Ericksen, represents Ferndale, home to two refineries. The refineries, are constantly targeted by protesters, so they contribute heavily to his campaigns. He's showing what a good puppy he is, by attempting to punish environmentalists, tribal activists and others who have obstructed oil and coal trains, pipelines and similar projects.

His proposal, is NOT going to pass.
