I am kind of waiting with an expectation of schadenfruede for the day when Trump scuttles NAFTA and all these people who thought that would fix things find out that everything costs more and that the number of jobs that we lost from that deal is nothing in comparison to the number of jobs lost to automation, or that the reason American job wages and security have been declining has more to do with the loss of collective bargaining than with the theft of jobs by people of color. Not that they won't find some other rationalization for why they aren't totally wrong.
