Survey: Students Are Ashamed Of Being American After College Education

Liberals will generally deny that 'higher education' schools are simply paid indoctrination camps. But, this survey provides some valuable insight.

College students are cultivating an increasingly pessimistic view of the United States and their futures as their national pride deteriorates in university classrooms across the nation, a newly published American College Student Freedom, Progress and Flourishing Survey confirms.

More than half of self-identified liberal students say they have developed a more negative view of the United States as a result of their higher education curriculum, while nearly one-third of students who identified as conservative shared their growing pessimism about America, according to the annual college student survey.

Political ideology significantly impacts students’ national pride.

While 52 percent of students say they are proud to be American, most of the patriotic students are conservative.

“A majority of conservative students (86 percent) are proud to be American compared to 38 percent of those who identify as liberal students and 59 percent of self-identified independents,” the survey notes.

Conservative students are significantly less inclined to accept the paradigm about American presented in the classroom. Eighty-one percent of liberal students say “college is giving them a more accurate picture of the U.S.” while “only 44 percent of conservative students” trust what they are being told about America.

So... What are these people being indoctrinated in? 😅

Are you being angry because after looking into things, not everyone says: "American is the greatest country in the world!"? Because that's not indoctrination, that's just reality.

Luckely, the person that you back up for leadership over the republican party wants to get rid of the so called "indoctrination" by actually openly admitting that he wants to indoctrinate people in school:
The only path to national unity is through our shared identity as Americans. That is why it is so urgent that we finally restore patriotic education to our schools. Under our leadership, the National Endowment for the Humanities has awarded a grant to support the development of a pro-American curriculum that celebrates the truth about our nation’s great history.

@Kwek00 the issue isn’t ‘I’m unhappy that you won’t say America isn’t the greatest country in the world’, but rather that they go for extreme in the opposite pretending that the US is hell on earth, whilst enjoying the benefits the country offers. Benefits that many people on earth don’t get to enjoy, let alone take for granted.

@pianoplayingsteve That segment of people excist... So what? Just like the opposite side of that narrative excist. That however isn't what this study is talking about. It never mentions radicalisation of that level. It just says that a lot of
More than half of self-identified liberal students say they have developed a more negative view of the United States as a result of their higher education curriculum,
A more negative view, doesn't mean an extreme view. It's just more negative then it was before they entered higher-education. Which is kinda normal, since you get more information which you use to reevaluate your position. And it's more then half??? Like how much is "more then half"? We know it's more then 50% but that's about it. So how big the segment is and what degree of of a more negative view they developed is just left out of the story, we don't know. Now this entire ambiguity, you can fill that in what ever meme is stuck in your head ofcouse, but the reality is that we just don't know.
“A majority of conservative students (86 percent) are proud to be American compared to 38 percent of those who identify as liberal students and 59 percent of self-identified independents,” the survey notes.
If a majority of the conservative students is proud to be American, well that's great for them. I still wonder what they actually are proud about, but if they want to proud well... just do it I guess. But there are a lot of people that look at degrees of poverty, look at issues in the job market, look at the gun deaths, ... you know all those social and economical issues that the US is struggling with and come to the conclussion that maybe something needs to happen so there is actually a reason to be proud. That's not an issue though, and it's something you find through history. Some people want to better society and some people are just perfectly fine how it is. But apperently, this is an issue caused by indoctrination.

@Kwek00 as you said, ‘so what’?
Kwek00 · 41-45, M
@pianoplayingsteve hey, it's your "issue".
@Kwek00 Nobody knows more about 'education' and 'our great history' than the 'stable genius' (ie) July 4, 2019 celebration and tribute to Patriotism. 'The Army shut down the Airports during the battle of 1775.' 🤦‍♂️

You brought it up, I was just commenting@Kwek00
Kwek00 · 41-45, M
@softspokenman Well, the Canadians also burned down the white house at some point.

@pianoplayingsteve Yeah, so it wasn't "so what" for you Steve. You felt that it was an issue that needed to be put into the conversation.
@Kwek00 the issue isn’t ‘I’m unhappy that you won’t say America isn’t the greatest country in the world’, but rather that they go for extreme in the opposite pretending that the US is hell on earth, whilst enjoying the benefits the country offers.
But if what I said convinced you that it isn't that important AND that this wasn't "the issue" of what this story was about. Then that's great. I'm glad we got there with just 1 reply this time. Glad to have you on board.

@Kwek00 oh I’m not on board, I’m just not that interested
