i read that covid deathrates are double what has been reported, why dont they tel us correct amount?

also in afrika often deaths arent officially reported ot anybody, people,just bury their dead,sometimeson their own land, and sno nobody knows how many peopel have die dof covid

We will never know the exact numbers, and some countries are better than others in reporting more accurate numbers.

It's not all done for cynical purposes. Some countries do not have the infrastructure in place to report accurately.

In the US, I rely on the CDC. Their figures may not be 100% accurate, but they are as good as we're going to get, for now.

In Africa, especially, they lack the infrastructure/diagnostics capability, to provide accurate reporting.
