But other parties do compete. They lose. There's dozens of parties but they have to meet the requirements of each state to be on a ballot. It's not a federal decision. And sorry but anti-trust is solely about businesses. It couldn't be applied to politics. I don't think we'll ever have anything but a two-party system in the U.S. It would require building from the ground up with representation in Congress. If a third party President was elected, without the support of votes in Congress, it would be a moot point. Democracy with two parties can work. Doesn't work so well without majority rule. As we've seen.

@Ynotisay not on TV debate platforms. The winners won't share.

@Stopmakingsense True but each network sets their own rules and candidate viability is part of that.

@Ynotisay I'm referring to that process, of course. It's business, private. It's also against the law.

@Stopmakingsense OK. But it's not against the law.

@Ynotisay It's against the Sherman Act.
It's not like you want to know about anti trust laws before hoping it's not illegal! Just say whatever!

@Stopmakingsense Nah. I'm pretty familiar with the topic thanks. That's why I'm saying what I'm saying. You're free to have your beliefs. But I'll stick with my facts if that's ok.
