Honestly want to know

Do trump supporters really think he is going to run again. After last republican convention that he spoke at its clear that by in large the republican party doesn't care for what he thinks or wants. 2/3 republicans voted against the candidate Trump wanted in next election. Pretty much shows that majority of Republicans will vote for any other republican if given an option other than Trump

I’m not a Trump supporter, quite the opposite, but I don’t know what you’re talking about. Trump still draws huge crowds, the candidates he endorses always win, his approval ratings are somewhat lower than they were even among Republicans but he’s still blowing all the other potential 2024 candidates out of the water, Trump is still very much the leader of the Republican Party.
@JP1119 Trump's approval rating worldwide is 17%. He might have high approval ratings from Qanon and White Supremacists but what is that doing to the Republican Party.

@Pitchblue He’s got people like TexChick and Sunsporter. That’s what the Republican Party is like today.
@JP1119 Do they believe Hillary eats babies and the Deep State is run by Reptiles because the Trump Base does.
JP1119 · 36-40, M
@Pitchblue Most Republicans probably do. Idk. So you think Trump is about to just fade softly into the night?
@JP1119 The Republicans need Trumps base until the midterms are over but then they will cut him lose he is far to much of a problem. By then all of his criminal court cases will be in the media every day. Right now there are 28 Qanon people running for Congress can you imagine dozens of MTG's in Congress. That will crash the Party completely.

@Pitchblue I don’t buy it. The fact that “the Deep State” attempts to arrest Trump won’t make Republicans like him any less, and Republicans don’t pay nearly the same price for MTG as Democrats do for AOC. That’s not fair, but that’s how it is. Being crazy left wing in the US is weird and a major turn off, but being crazy right wing is actually kind of cool.
@JP1119 Cool, like calling wearing a mask the same as the Holocaust. And as soon as she gets attention she pushes for stupid people to send her money. A page out of Trump's book. AOC has self respect and doesn't pull that kind of bullshit.
JP1119 · 36-40, M
@Pitchblue Oh yeah, I agree it shouldn’t be that way. AOC is smart, classy, believes in her cause, and tries to represent common Americans, whereas MTG is a cynical lunatic.

But how do most Americans actually feel about masks? Granted I live in deep red Missouri, but the news seems to indicate that even in blue states most people don’t seem to think they’re really necessary, and even among the ones that do think they’re necessary most don’t like them. So how much price do you think MTG is going to pay for comparing face masks to the Holocaust? Eh.
@JP1119 The statement is insane. She just insulted all Jewish people. Trump has given legitimacy to 100% bullshit. These statements don't need to be true or even somewhat reasonable, as a matter of fact the more crazy the better. The problem is these people are supposed to be running the country. MTG doesn't do anything but get attention, like Trump. Trump learned this strategy from Paris Hilton. No News Is Bad News.
