I think it’s hilarious that conservatives think billionaires are left wing

@FreeSpirit1 There are billionaire liberals but they are not leftists. Well...,maybe in the USA where anything left of Pinochet is "leftist".

@NoahB I didnt say Democrats, I said on the left, I was answering your question which also didn't mention political parties. There are conservative Democrats and liberal Republicans, you said left wing.

@FreeSpirit1 The USA has not had a political left in decades. America is great at political purges.

But the US has shifted so far right Ronald Reagan would be a commie pinko.

@FreeSpirit1 It is a simple fact. Pat Buchanan, who in the 90s gave his infamous "Culture War" speech that would not be out of place for a fascist dictator at the RNC. Now he is consider a centre left liberal and his politics have never changed.

@FreeSpirit1 Right and left are well defined. There is literally an entire area of study around it, political science. Oligarchs going all the way back to monarchy have been right wing and centrists.
