Trump is out of the Presidency, a commission to investigate the incident of 6 Jan. may or may not take place. The National Guard has returned to their respective states. Will the erected fence come down?
There are far more pressing issues facing this country now, and the Administration needs to be clear on them and how to deal with them.

Hopefully the erected fence will stay up as long as it needs for our Congreve to be safe. One really can’t take McConnell seriously. It is obvious how his interests have compromised the security of the United States since he became the majority leader in the Senate. The investigation will take place through Committees led by the Democrats since Republican Senators have no model to follow since Senator McCain passed. There is NO doubt that trump was involved in the insurrection.

@Pfuzylogic I don’t think the fence needs to remain up. That said I don’t really care if they keep it up. But if they removed it, a seance of “ normalcy” might start to creep back into
D.C.? I think our Congressional members are safe. But yes they like others of certain position are always in the limelight and not being sarcastic or funny, a certain risk goes along with being a politician regardless of affiliation.

Members of Congress are entitled to safety. Especially with new legislation that the extreme right will oppose. It is the number of thugs that flood the Capitol that determines our law. I see fear on the Republican side to find out the truth. Let the curtain be exposed to what vermin statesmen participated in these traitorous activities. We already know the names of at least eight Republican representatives that gave tours to the leaders of the invading mob on the day before.
