Sometimes I think the wealthy and powerful know our economy is done, the government is bankrupt, and they might as well grab all they can while it lasts.
@hunkalove There are obviously many people who are in it for themselves only. They've been able to control the government to get tax cut after tax cut, with nothing left for the rest of the country.
@windinhishair And they've wound up their constituents to yell and scream about Biden's proposals that will DIRECTLY and positively impact their lives. The mind fuckery just never ceases to amaze me.
@Ynotisay That's the most mind-numbing part of it all, that policies that directly benefit themselves are attacked, while those that hurt them are glorified. It is almost like they enjoy failing as long as they can blame someone else for their failure and pain.
