Is Isreal simply protecting themselves

Israel is targeting the people of Gaza, apartment buildings, the media. The death count is 20 to 1. If you were punched in the face would it be fair to kill 5 people. Are the Palestinians caught in the middle of Hamas and Israel.

The responses here clearly show that the left will do everything necessary to ignore the persistent provocation of Hamas, shooting literally thousands of rockets into Israel, knowingly putting their own in peril and pretend that Israel is the aggressor.

Six months ago there was relative peace in the Middle East - thanks to Trump and his policies. Then the left steal the election and everything turns to shit. The southern border over run, we lose our energy independence and the Middle East literally blows up.

@Budwick No offense but why do old folks always have trouble understanding the reality? Why do you want to live in a world that is painted black and white only? Because that's like choosing to live a lie. There's no black and white in this world. Israel is an apartheid ethno-religious military state. That's just the new reality. Maybe once, decades and decades ago, it was a promising democratic state, maybe that's what you remember from like 20-30 years ago when you were younger and it seems to be the image you're holding on to, but it's not the reality anymore. Many of us don't feel like supporting a state like that and it doesn't make us pro-Hamas.

I understand that supporting genocide and apartheid systems is [i]ok [/i]for your generation. You probably lived through the apartheid state in South Africa and maybe even supported it. It must come naturally to you to witness a genocide taking place in our world and feel inclined to support it. Just saying
