Is Isreal simply protecting themselves

Israel is targeting the people of Gaza, apartment buildings, the media. The death count is 20 to 1. If you were punched in the face would it be fair to kill 5 people. Are the Palestinians caught in the middle of Hamas and Israel.

I know an ex Israeli soldier who told me a few things about what’s going on in there(and he hated the whole thing,so it’s not really a biased situation). That’s why i side with Israel

@SW-User Israel is wiping out civilians that have nothing to do with Hamas. Israel is protected by the Iron Dome has one of the best militarys in the world and then is protected by the US. 20 to 1 is extreme overkill.

@Pitchblue yes but at the same time Hamas strategically place their strongholds into civilian areas exactly for that reason. He told me about Hamas soldiers crouching amongst children on rooftops shooting at them and stuff.
