Where's Pence these days?

He could be campaigning but he blends into the stage because it's painted white.

Can you imagine sucking up to the person who sent a mob to hang you?

He is not known for standing up for himself or others.
trump figured that out.
@Pfuzylogic Just look at what Trump has done to Mr. Pillow, Rudy, Powell, and now Lin Wood. I'm shocked none of them are willing to turn on him. If anyone treated me like shit I certainly wouldn't continue to defend them. I guess if they turn on Trump and start telling the truth now the whole R Party will be up their ass.

Liz Cheney is the sign of the times. Integrity is not considered desired by the Republican Party.
@Pfuzylogic She has no integrity. She's a War Hawk. She doesn't give a fuck about the people of the country, she cares about the Military Industrial Complex. This time she's telling the truth but there's more to it than that. I'd love to know what her long game is. Maybe she is hoping to be on the right side if Cy Vance comes calling for Trump.

I am a Democrat and a straight line voter since 1998. That year I voted for a couple of Republicans.
She is facing more of a battle for the soul of our country and if anyone runs against her in the Primary I will personally financially support her.
@Pfuzylogic Dick was an evil man. She's not much different, don't get sucked in. Why not support someone who wants to help the people.

I had a “hate” affair with Dick myself. I would go hunting with him as a friend. I appreciate the battle Liz is doing inside the Republican Party and I repeat; I will financially support her efforts inside the Republican Party!

@Pfuzylogic Thats why Pence got the job in the first place. He was not the first choice. Just the first who didnt have the guts to say No..A prime requisite to work for Trump.
@Pfuzylogic From 2017-2021, Cheney voted in line with Trump’s position 92.9% of the time.

@Pitchblue This is the problem with so Many American opinions. A lot of things are just not black and white. As a Republican Cheney was valid. Not always right. But in line with the party values. It was the excesses of Trump she stood against and the Party has not. In the case of Trump she is simply less wrong than he is..
@whowasthatmaskedman I remember that meeting on shutting the Government down. Pelosi, Schumer, Trump and Pence. Pence blended into the furniture, didn't say a word. He always knew how to avoid trouble by pretending to not even be in these meetings. Trump on the other hand. I'll Take The Blame!!!! Then a day later said it was all Pelosi's fault. Hahahahahahaa Pelosi beat him up and twisted his arm again.
@whowasthatmaskedman She went along with everything Trump so why did she suddenly start telling the truth. She didn't in Yemen, or when Trump turned his back on allied soldiers, the Kurds, she didn't say a word when Trump lied 40,000 times. So why now? She wasn't actively trying to change anything until now. So why now?
@Pitchblue I'm honestly curious what she's up to or if there's other reasons the Trump sycophants gave her the boot.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@Pitchblue Good question. Ask Graham, McConnell, McCarthy or any of the others. I dont like any of them, including her. But she was simply the first to cry "enough" and stand her ground against the mad man.. As such I see her as a possible rallying point for others. But that still doesnt make her right. Just less wrong. American Politics generally sucks.
@whowasthatmaskedman Lady G has all but come out and said At this point the Republican Party has to continue with the lies to have any chance in 2022 or 24.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@Pitchblue And she is probably right. And it still is not much of a chance considering they just lost.. So riddle me this.. Is the Republican movement a set of beliefs and principles in the freedom, advancement and future of America as a nation and its people? Or an unprincipled grab for power and control at any price, to milk and fleece the livestock?

@Pitchblue
The character of a politician and the support of our republic democracy has much more impact that whether they are liberal or conservative in political position. I served in the military for 22 years understanding that it included protecting our Constitution.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@Pfuzylogic As a side note, that kind of personal commitment to the nation is the kind of responsibility I would like to see as the price for getting a vote..

@whowasthatmaskedman
When you have skin in the game, voting takes on a different personal importance.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@Pfuzylogic Exactly. The original Voters in the newly formed USA were all male land owners. Another form of skin in the game. Its not perfect. But neither is Democracy. Just better than anything else we have found so far..
