@TexChik "Lies and BS" like the OpEd from the Galveston News? We are no closer to Communism than we were in the 50's with McCarthy. These are just scare tactics from the far right hoping to garner more votes to get themselves back into power by pumping up their base. Duh, of course Universal Healthcare isn't free but it also doesn't provide advantages to the very rich over the very poor, or is that what you right wingers are promoting once again?

Since the Communist Party USA has never been able to get even one percent of the vote I'd say America is in no danger of a communist take-over.

There is no escape really. Everyone runs here, where does "here" run to unless you have the fortitude to off grid it the rest of your life? Be cautious and prepared to help make things easier later. We can't know what will happen, or if it happens at all.
