When the whole country gets free, high speed internet, Will we get net neutrality and the right to encrypted communication with that?

Should people be permitted to have truly private conversation over the internet? Doesn't the high tech-ness simply upstage my right to privacy? Or was that National Security?

Pretty sure the current plan bringing affordable broadband options to people that currently don't have them, rather than free internet for the whole country. In the process, a "public option" will emerge to help keep Comcast, etc from price-gouging.

As for net neutrality, something of a separate topic - there is some pressure on democrats to revive it.
