At what point will we admit that the US military is a criminal organization that earned our mistrust

No matter what, they want more war in Afghanistan-. No matter what, NATO is on the prowl.. no matter what, they're going to prepare for even more massive war- Doesn't that spoil the credibility of the military for good?

Sorry but where do you get off disparaging the honour and the valour of our Service Members, many of whom sacrificed their lives to give you the right to spew your crap. I don't know many Soldiers who want "More war". By all means blame the Government that give orders to the "Military" or the Top Brass of the Military but don't taint us all with your mistrust, we certainly didn't earn it... 馃槨

Strict conservative republicans need to look at issues with wide eyes, not closed minds. Didn't soldiers die to maintain our constitutional right to free speech? So where do you get off criticizing the free speech of others? @spjennifer @spjennifer

@FlowersNButterflies Yes, many of us did indeed die to maintain our Constitutional right to free speech but "free speech" doesn't always mean any speech. I didn't say she couldn't criticize the Military just that she should direct her ire to the people who deserve it, not the soldiers who die defending her rights...

I am definitely not Republican and do have a very open mind but also served for 35+ years and don't like to see our brave Men and Women disparaged for the decisions of their Commanders and Governments. Rank and File Soldiers don't make the decisions to go to war, Governments do and Soldiers obey their orders.
