I don't think so, at least he got a trial, Chauvin was Judge, Jury and Executioner for George Floyd. Regardless of Floyd's past, whether he was high or combative, Police Officers are supposed to be trained to deal with those situations and kneeling on Floyd's neck for almost 10 minutes was not according to any Police protocol. Not saying that Chauvin actually killed Floyd as Medical Examiners have said he didn't but his actions certainly contributed to Floyd's death and that's what he was charged with and convicted of so the conviction was appropriate and hopefully he will receive the sentence he justly deserves. No "Mob rule" here.
