Only tRumplicans blame democrats for everything. Part of the strategy of "divide and conquer", which while not wholly successful, has definitely messed up the USA into hate a levels never before seen.

There are books written on the strategy, military campaigns dedicated to the tactic, TV shows and movies highlighting the effects of it. Hell, we've been told in no uncertain terms Russia is doing this to us as we speak, and still we run over to our respective corners. In a virtual word, which this largely is now, country affiliation need not matter anymore and get's mightily confused with "our side," which is less about land and much more about perceived safety.
