People Don't Seem To Understand that Hillary Won the Popular vote

60,467,000+ people voted for Hillary and 60,071,000+ people voted for Trump. If the elections were based on actual individual ballots cast, then Hillary would be president. So, please stop saying most people voted for Trump, because it is inaccurate. He won the electoral vote, meaning he gained the most number of points through the states in that system, which is what decides the president.

The same thing happened with Bush/Gore. It's interesting how many people don't seem to understand their own country's voting system...

i think if the election were based on the popular vote, both campaigns would have employed a different strategy. Both played to the existing rules.

Yes and people would take voter fraud seriously

Yup. While I think the Electoral College is wretchedly unfair and undemocratic, it's what the ground rules were for the election, and if they'd been different, both sides would have followed different strategies.
