People Don't Seem To Understand that Hillary Won the Popular vote

60,467,000+ people voted for Hillary and 60,071,000+ people voted for Trump. If the elections were based on actual individual ballots cast, then Hillary would be president. So, please stop saying most people voted for Trump, because it is inaccurate. He won the electoral vote, meaning he gained the most number of points through the states in that system, which is what decides the president.

The same thing happened with Bush/Gore. It's interesting how many people don't seem to understand their own country's voting system...

I don't guess it matters under our system

Nope. And it'll never change, because one side or other will always perceive it as an advantage, and it requires some actual bipartisanship to get it changed.

3 million illegal votes...yeah the popular vote is non existent

I understand it, when the country was started states were more important than the federal government so the popular count did not mean a lot. Now it is the other way around, the federal government has made itself more important than the individual states.
