People Don't Seem To Understand that Hillary Won the Popular vote

60,467,000+ people voted for Hillary and 60,071,000+ people voted for Trump. If the elections were based on actual individual ballots cast, then Hillary would be president. So, please stop saying most people voted for Trump, because it is inaccurate. He won the electoral vote, meaning he gained the most number of points through the states in that system, which is what decides the president.

The same thing happened with Bush/Gore. It's interesting how many people don't seem to understand their own country's voting system...

we don't accurately track the popular vote because it is meaningless. We elect a president based on the number of congressmen. This is a bad argument because it is unprovable.

It is provable. If you type in popular vote on google, it will give you the exact numbers. That's where I got them. (:

@Kaceekakes: Most of this is based on exit polling. So you 'vote' for trump but when they ask you, you say clinton.

@MasterLee: No, this is based in ballots cast. I assure you they did not "exit poll" over 120 million people and if they did, I certainly wasn't included.
