The Gold standard remark
Biden paid a compliment to Andrew Cuomo back in 2020 on the Jimmy Fallon show citing him (paraphrasing) as the gold standard of Governors in his dealing with Covid 19.
Now that Cuomo is under pressure by many for his handling of the nursing home issue and those who passed as a result which is being laid at his feet, the question was raised by a WH correspondent if Joe still felt that way now. The spokeswoman for Biden did not answer the question which the correspondent repeated asking for a Yes or No answer. He did not get it.
