I don't remember him ever promising two thousand dollars a month.. He promised a two thousand dollar stimulus check.. That changed to 1400 after the run off elections in Georgia..
And he said pretty clearly that student loan debt cancelation wasn't on his agenda and that even a ten thousand dollar break through an executive order wasn't something that he would promise
@NoahB Nope, I'm being factual.. I do think that he should have kept his promise of a 2000 dollar check, he never explained that his proposal included the already received 600 dollars even though it would have been trivially simple to do so..
Certain congressman have called for various degrees of student loan debt forgiveness but Biden himself has been pretty clear on what he felt was practical in that regard..
He can’t be held responsible for that because that’s 2hat he was referring to. If you weren’t paying attention that’s your problem. He already cleared it up too. @NoahB
@Spoiledbrat he literally said 2k checks on video and there are countless examples of the democrats campaigning on 2k checks. Not 1,400 dollar checks. If you weren’t paying attention or deciding that him suddenly deciding to speak with clarity after the election is acceptable that’s your problem.
