Support the troops is such a loaded fucking statement. It basically means "Support whatever bullshit war we're sending poor people to die in." Troops are fine, they're just people doing a job. But I'm not a cheerleader for shitty wars.

Actually I at one point wanted to join the military and be part of the infantry, but I have meet a lot of soldiers that just get a thrill for destruction others are sociopaths and other are assholes.

Yeah. The problem is it's a job where you can be a horrible human being and get away with it. Same with cops. ... Well, I like soldiers more than cops.
