Why do republicans think its ok to allow guns for terrorists and other demented people ?

considering the latest shooting at a hospital, shouldnt guns be restricted to people with some responsibility ?

thats a bit of a stretch to get to that conclusion. to play the otherside of the card you've dealt, firearm control already specifically disallows terrorists and demented people from acquiring arms,therefore all gun control measures are futile and can only serve to disarm law abiding citizens.
