Yes, though It's not clear how much.

But her main problem was that she was part of the establishment for her entire life, part of the power structure...while Trump, who had never held office before (something normally seen as a handicap), was perceived by many as an outsider and a breath of fresh air in spite of his wealth and conservative identification with the rich and powerful.

I'd like to believe that the American people, or about half of them, just got fed up with the policies of globalism, UN Agenda 21 and ICLEI with its social engineering programs.

Never gonna understand that line of thinking, though. It's not like Trump would ever say, "Look, the casino is tanking, so we're brining in a breath of fresh air. Welcome our new CEO, ship's captain Bruce Smith." Farmers aren't out there thinking, "This crop ain't growin'; I'm gonna find me a barber to take over."

It would be insanity to hire a leader who knew nothing about the job in any other landscape in the country.

@Oconnor: Those who do know the job, who have lots of experience, have been selling out the American people to globalism, taking their cue from UN Agenda 21 and cooperating fully with ICLEI. People were desperate enough to consider an outsider. They felt that his business management skills would translate to him being able to run the country. This remains to be seen. It's social and political experimentation replacing social engineering. I am skeptical but hoping for the best.

@greenmountaingal: I don't know. Sometimes you need to be broken down before you can be built up stronger. But this part's gonna hurt.

@Oconnor: I think the presidency is different. A president needs to know what the problems are, have a vision on how to fix them. A non-politician sees things that a politician might not see. The trick is to hire the best people, and listen to them. A fault Obama has of not listening, even criticized by democrats for it.

@GunSmoke9: Your baseless criticism of Obama aside, I will concede that maybe another point of view can help the presidency. I think we significantly differ on which point of view that is.
