Ten Days Into Biden's Administration, And The Differences Are Crystal Clear

No matter what you think of his policies, just having someone who is competent is refreshing after four years of gross incompetence and unfitness for office. Now there are no more tweets, no racist statements, no more bullying, no more lying on a scale never seen in politics. The entire world breathes a sigh of relief That the US is back and prepared to work with other nations for their mutual benefit.

@anythingoes477 It feels so good just to be normal again after surviving four years of abject hatred for others by the former White House occupant.
Prison1203 · 61-69, M
@anythingoes477 actually, the waste from the solar panels when they run out in 20 years or less is more harmful to the environment than any fossil fuel ever was or will be, try educating yourself instead of being a useful idiot https://www.instituteforenergyresearch.org/renewable/solar/the-mounting-solar-panel-waste-problem/

@Prison1203 Why am I not surprised that your source says nothing about
the waste from the solar panels when they run out in 20 years or less is more harmful to the environment than any fossil fuel ever was or will be
?

While disposal of solar panel materials is an issue to be addressed, it is far less damaging than the continued use of huge quantities of fossil fuels. Try educating yourself instead of being a useful idiot.

Oh, and by the way, the IER was founded by the Koch Brothers as a shill organization supporting fossil fuels. You might try an unbiased source next time.

Yes, do try to educate yourself
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Prison1203 You can post all the right-wing anti-solar sources you want. I accept that there are waste disposal issues, just as there are for any form of energy. But when you consider the total life cycle costs of renewable energy versus fossil fuel energy, renewable energy wins every time.

Yes, do try to educate yourself. Your argument is specious.
Prison1203 · 61-69, M
There have been more metric tons of waste since 2006 than there has been in the 100 plus years of fossil fuels, why do you care you old fuck. You will die before the world ends anyway @windinhishair
Prison1203 · 61-69, M
@windinhishair none of my sources were right wing, you just don’t like facts
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Prison1203 Your statement is again specious, and in this case completely laughable. You obviously have no clue what wastes are created by the fossil fuel industry and in what amounts. If you knew ANYTHING at all about the industry, you'd never have made such a profoundly ignorant statement.

Solar energy panels and the waste created do need to be dealt with, just like in any industry. Why don't you stick to something factual instead of broadcasting your ignorance for all to see?

You old fuck.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Prison1203 Many of your statements weren't based on a source, and were demonstrably wrong. The few you did source were from right-wing sources.

I do like facts, when I see them. You are too far gone to even recognize what one is any more.
Strictgram · 70-79, C
@windinhishair Let's all stick to facts and reality and omit the foul language.
IER maintains that the free market provides the most "efficient and effective solutions" to "global energy and environmental challenges".[1]

IER is often described as a "front" for the fossil fuel industry;[by whom?] it was initially formed by Charles Koch, receives donations from many large companies like Exxon, and publishes a stream of reports and position papers opposing any efforts to control greenhouse gasses.

In 2016, Thomas Pyle, president of IER and AEA, was appointed to the US Department of Energy's transition team after the 2016 United States elections. On 15 November, he delivered a memo entitled "What to Expect from the Trump Administration" which has been described as a "fossil fuel industry wish list". It called for withdrawing from the 2015 Paris Agreement, overturning the Clean Power Plan, opening federal lands to exploitation for coal and oil development, and rolling back CAFE fuel economy standards.[5]

IER has received funding from the Brown Foundation (started by founders of a construction and energy company), the Searle Freedom Trust and the Claude R. @OggggO Yep. Not right-wing at all. LOL.

@Strictgram I'm all for facts. You should try them sometime.
